The young London-Moscow-Tbilisi-based practice Architects of Invention has received 3rd Prize for Telecommunications Tower in Santiago de Chile.
The concept of this tower suggests the volcano and optical phenomena such as the halo and the sun pillar. The ideas originate with the early modernists such as Rodchenko, Tatlin, Yakov Chernikhov and Malevich.

Beyer Blinder Belle is the executive architect, and construction of the fully-financed building is under way with anticipated occupancy in the fall of 2015.

On top of the large basement that these two elements represent and their respective underground parking area, are two dark grey towers of monolithic appearance.

Conran and Partners has been appointed to work on the maintenance and refurbishment of the tallest residential tower on the south coast of England.

The architecture and design practice will be giving its specialist advice to the board of Sussex Heights in Brighton as it looks to put together a programme of works for the Grade II listed building that includes window replacement.
