The Civic Centre, Library and Centre Square are the main focal points of a strategic master plan for the regeneration of Athlone. Accommodating Athlone Town Council, the development features:

• Council Chambers
• Executive Offices
• Public Area
• Exposed high quality concrete
• 1,000m² Regional Library
• New Town Square – External Public Space

The project has received national and international acclaim and has been awarded:
• Best Sustainable Project 2005 – RIAI
• 2005 Opus Architecture & Construction Award > €5m Category
• RIBA Award for EU Projects 2005
